WILD HONEY - THE ALBUM

Wild Honey was The Beach Boys at their soulful best. The influence of soul music and Rhythm & Blues on this album was unmistakable right from the very first cut, "Wild Honey" to the last. I may have stated on other pages about the lack of a feel good album between "Party" and "15 Big Ones". Well, when it comes to Wild Honey, this entire album feels good. The music is of high quality, the cover of Stevie Wonder's "I Was Made To Love Her" is done superbly by Carl Wilson and the song writing is very original.
This album did fairly well on the charts, reaching number 24 on the Billboard charts. Singles off this album were "Wild Honey" and "Darlin". In my opinion they could have release a number of other cuts off of the album as singles. However, if you get a chance to pick up this album, it is definitely worth its weight in gold.
The following is the playlist for the Beach Boys' Wild Honey album:
Track 1 - Wild Honey (Brian Wilson - Mike Love)
Track 2 - Aren't You Glad (Brian Wilson - Mike Love)
Track 3 - I Was Made To Love Her (Cosby - Hardaway - May - Wonder)
Track 4 - Country Air (Brian Wilson - Mike Love)
Track 5 - A Thing Or Two Darlin' (Brian Wilson - Mike Love)

Track 8 - Let The Wind Blow (Brian Wilson - Mike Love)
