SURFIN' USA - THE ALBUM
Surfin'
USA, released in April of 1963 was the Beach Boys' second album and
was a huge chart success. It peaked at #2 and made surf music a
national phenomenon. This album only produced two singles,
"Surfin' USA" backed with "Shut Down".
"Surfin' USA" did very well as the A side and peaked at #3.
"Shut
Down" peaked at #23 and would later re-appear on the "Little
Deuce Coupe" album.
