SURFER GIRL - THE ALBUM

 
Released in July of 1963, this would be the first Beach Boys album to publicly proclaim: Produced by Brian Wilson. "Surfer Girl" was a lovely ballad unlike anything the Beach Boys had recorded up to that time. It was a pretty arrangement and it really showed the depth of the Beach Boys' harmonies. The album had some great rockers too. This album produced three singles, "Surfer Girl", "Little Deuce Coupe" and "In My Room". It peaked at #7.
