LITTLE DEUCE COUPE - THE ALBUM
Released in
October of 1963, Little Deuce Coupe, was a speedway of hot rod tunes
that proved that The Beach Boys could be great surfers as well as
draggers in the music business. Unfortunately the album contained
songs found on previously released albums such as "Little Deuce
Coupe", "Shut Down", "409" and
"Our Car Club". The new stuff on this album is what made it
worth buying. The fans thought so too since the album made it to #4.
It is a bit of a surprise that this album produced no new singles
except for "Be True To Your School" yet the single hit
version did not appear on this or any other album (except for recent
albums such as "Made in USA").
