HOLLAND - THE ALBUM

Holland, reached #36 on the charts in January of 1973. Recorded in Holland at an estimated cost of around $250,000 resulted in a fairly good album. There was something very unique about this album that no other rock group could claim to have included in any album. And that was a fairy tale. Brian Wilson wrote "Mount Vernon and Fairway". He thought up the idea of the fairy tale while the group was in Holland recording this album. It was a very original addition.

The album itself contained some commercially appealing tracks such as "Sail On Sailor", which, by the way, made it to #79 on the Billboard charts. "California Saga" another song which had commercial appeal made it to #84.
