* THE BEACH BOYS CHRISTMAS ALBUM never actually appeared on Billboard’s Top 200 LPs chart, not in 1964 nor in any year since. It did, however, appear on the seasonal “Top Christmas Sellers” chart that they ran every December. In 1964, it reached the #6 position the week of Dec. 5. The next year, it peaked at #7 on Dec. 11. And it also resurfaced for each of the next three years on the renamed “Best Bets for Christmas” chart, but never inside the Top 10.
